This pool was built in 1971 primarily for employees of the Metropolitan Park at the top of Chacarillas Hill, 800 meters above sea level.
It opened its doors to the general public on December 28, 1976. Antilén means “there is sun” in the Mapudungún language.
Similar to the Tupahue swimming pool, local stone was used in its construction. It has a capacity of 1500 people and measures 92 meters long. From the pool you can enjoy a spectacular 360 degree panoramic view of Santiago.
The pool is open Friday through Sunday at 10:00 a.m. during the summer.
Children up to age 13 pay a reduced fare. Children under the age of 3 are free of charge. Our eco-friendly buses can bring you to the pool quickly, easily and safely.
