The National Zoo maintains the highest animal welfare standards. It has its own veterinary clinic, nutritional center, and runs entertaining and educational programs.
The zoo also works with wildlife through conservation and research programs and cares for rescued animals at its clinic.
To enrich the visitor experience, the zoo hosts numerous exhibits and zookeeper talks open to the general public, activities for school groups and special events.
There is also a zoo theater, where you can see interesting documentaries on the animal world. Its goal is to inspire viewers to further explore the diversity of animal life. Visit the National Zoo, a unique opportunity to connect with nature right in the heart of Santiago.
