Questions about the Santiago Funicular Railway
The funicular opens at 1:00 p.m. on Mondays and 10:00 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday. During the summer it closes every day at 8:00 p.m. and during the winter at 7:00 p.m. We are closed the first Monday of every month.

Yes. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket window with a debit card, credit card or cash. If paying in cash, please note that only Chilean pesos are accepted.

Yes. It depends upon which ticket you purchase. The funicular only stops at the National Zoo Station on the way up from Pio Nono Station to Cumbre Station.
Yes. You can enjoy the cable car when it is raining as long as the weather forecast does not include thunderstorms.
For the safety of these beloved family members and other visitors, no pets of any kind are allowed. We cannot predict how they might react high above the ground inside a cabin with strangers. Additionally, we cannot provide safe zones for them.
